Once only served behind closed doors, “O Provador” (The Taster), a port based on a secret blend of Reserve Tawny that the legendary Cockburn's taster and much-loved “Cowboy of the Douro”, John Smithes, produced for himself and his colleagues to enjoy as part of their long laid-back lunches and visits to the sun-drenched vineyards of Quinta dos Canais. 

I was invited by Cockburn’s to design the label, the packaging and to create a mural on the Cockburn’s wine cellars to celebrate the launch of the wine. The design process was inspired by O Provador’s irreverence and his love for the Douro and its people. The images represent the Douro Valley, Porto and some of the region’s eccentric sayings – paired with the playful Cockburn’s humour.

I created the packaging for the Japanese skincare brand to celebrate the Chinese New Year, embracing the essence of the Year of the Dragon in 2024.

The concept was inspired in the traditional symbols associated with the Dragon and culimated in the creation of a package that resembled a vintage matchbox.

The original project ended up changing directions nearing the end of the design process so the current brand name is fictional.

For this project I was asked by the Upwork team to create hand-made typography elements and to document my work in time-lapse. The typography within the resulting time-lapse video acts as a step by step guide, showing others how the hiring process works on Upwork, while also showing off my skills.

I was invited to design the new covers for the design museum in Lisbon that will protect the building while it's being renovated for the next couple of years. The museum is located right in the heart of the city so it’s an honour to have my work on such an historical part of my hometown.

True Culture is a frozen pizza brand that handcrafts pizza dough that slowly ferments to create a uniquely delicious crust that captures perfectly-balanced and subtle flavors without a sour taste. Unlike countless sourdough products on the market, True Culture Pizza is made the authentic way: naturally leavened without the use of commercial yeast or artificial flavors.

I had the opportunity to help developing the brand image as well as design the front and back packaging of the products.

Inspired by vintage apothecary packaging, "Remédio Santo" is a personal project where I'm exploring traditional Portuguese sayings and giving them a twist.

I created a number of illustrations that made fun of some of the most well known Portuguese expressions. More to come soon!

This is the second edition of my personal project titled ”Fantastic Souvenirs” in which I explored what souvenir stickers from the magical shops of Diagon Alley and Hogsmeade would look like if they were taken from these imaginary places and brought to real life.

From fashion & music, to entertainment, food & sport, the campaign features Hispanic trailblazers known for breaking barriers and redefining what’s possible for their community. These partners are a mix of traditional influencers, and real trailblazers with amazing stories & accomplishments.

Merchandising project created while working in-house for the advertising agency Lola Mullen Lowe Paris.

 The project consisted in working on a wide range of graphics for t-shirts; stickers; pins; temporary tattoos; badges and a gift wrap pattern. I explored different ways to incorporate the oficial logo (the octopus) and also played with french expressions with an english twist.

Imagine yourself walking around the picturesque village of Hogsmeade and having a meal in your favourite pub or window shopping in the busy paths of Diagon-Alley. Wouldn't it be great if you could be able to get souvenirs to remember those places? That's why I decided to start this new series called "Fantastic Souvenirs".

I had the opportunity to explore directions and create some lettering assets for a new ad for Smart shot in Lisbon.

I had the opportunity to work on a set of two illustrations for Sal. Oppeneim, a private bank from Germany. 

The magazine article talks about time, so the objective of the artwork was to show some of the historical figures that were born during the life expectancy of a whale. The second illustration shows some of the inventions that were made during the life expectancy of a sturgeon.

Carolina Denim is a raw denim-focused brand from North Carolina.

The brand is based on slow fashion, meaning the main goal is to focus on quality and craftsmanship instead of quantity.

For this project I had the opportunity to create the logo and additional branding elements like a custom patch and illustrations.

I was invited by the awesome people at Great Little Place to work on a couple of prints for their shop "Great Little Prints".

The first illustration shows some of London's most loved icons, famous streets and boroughs.

The second print is a homage to the city of Sydney. It illustrates some of its most well known places but also shows some hidden gems.

The last print is a hand drawn map showing some of Britain and Ireland most famous icons and hidden treasures.

I explored the quote "Think Smart" in a way that you can read it from far away but up close it looks like an abstract piece.

Packaging project for the new limited edition of the Sagres Bohemia beer "Hoppy Weiss"

I was invited to visit the city of Toruń in Poland to be a part of the exhibition "Handmade" that's part of the Plaster festival organised by the Centre of Contemporary Art.
The exhibition features some of mine and other artist's work and I also had the opportunity to paint a mural there. The main theme was "Heat of the moment", which focuses on art that describes current political, social and sociological problems. I decided to create a matchbox that relates to one of the biggest problems we have right now which is global warming.

I was invited by Brighton Grammar School in Australia to work on the cover design for their annual yearbook called "Grammarian"

I also worked on an illustration that was painted into a mural and was also used on merchandising.

Poster for the 22nd edition of "Festival Termómetro" which is a Portuguese festival that aims at showcasing emerging bands from the country.
